Great stay! Everything was super clean and the staff at the reception desk were amazingly friendly 😊 Can't wait to visit again!

We had a lovely and very comfortable stay at Kelham House Country Manor Hotel. All the staff were friendly & helpful. The room was beautifully decorated and very tidy & clean. The bathroom was very modern and clean. The food is quite good too and really enjoyed having a selection of dishes to choose from for breakfast instead of just the ordinary Full English. We look forward to staying here again in the near future.

The only thing that we didn't like is that walls seems to be quite thin and we could hear the people in the rooms either side of us all the time. So one needs to be quite conscious about how "noisy" you might be, not to disturb your neighbours.

The room here is really well-kept and has a modern feel, plus they have free Wi-Fi; the breakfast is satisfying, with sliced ham and a variety of salads.

Firstly my name is Eamonn collinge not Collinge Eamonn! The staff are amazingly helpful, friendly and efficient .The food is very good - bar & restaurant alike = enough good choice for everyone over the period of the stay.

One small problem was the "wet room" shower which, whilst providing a spacious bathroom, did not drain properly so the floor remained wet after showering.

The en suite was rather narrow and the sink only big enough to wash your hands in. The staff were very friendly and helpful but lacked the training for waiting on for evening meals. The wooden floors in the reception and dining areas look good but staff need to wear soft soled shoes .

Ideal location! It's nearby the countryside, a lovely garden, and a major city. 🌳

Excellant stay, hotel still a work in progress however its obvious that what they are setting out to create is being achevieved, rooms, food, and service could'nt be faulted.

Upon arrival very pleasantly greeted and informed on the faciliities available.All the staff and management were friendly. The restaurant was booked on a couple of evening for private functions but the reasonable priced and excellent menu was readily served in the lounge bar. The Hotel is small 12 rooms including the converted coach house. The decor was crisp and clean with higher range fixture and fittings, the power shower was superb. Set in the solitory country side it made me feel I had a holiday break rather than working away from home. I will be staying there again when working in nearby Newark.

The hotel had a marvelous location just off a beautiful river in the grounds. The St Wilfrid Church was placed at a small distance.This hotel met our requirements!

Staff excellent very helpful and friendly,beautiful setting and lovely room with some period furniture in, Downstairs wad a nice mix of old and new which worked really well its very clean.

Shower was a bit hit and miss, it went cold then hot! Chef needs to be less liberal with the salt in his cooking, and the creme brulee was just like the vanilla custard!

The room had a pleasant character.It overlooked the rear garden and being at the back of the house, which is set well back from the road, was very quiet and restful.

The peaceful and central location here is a great advantage, providing easy access to Nottingham airport, just a 29-minute drive away.

I appreciated the hotel, it was beautifully kept and lovely peaceful with fast wi-fi. The breakfast had a huge variety of outstanding options, and was satisfactory. The daily service was very good. Also, I parked nearby.

The staff were extremely helpful without being obtrusive. The room we had in the coach house was very comfortable and quiet - we hardly heard the other guests.The meal we had was beautiful, although there wasn't a huge choice. We would certainly stay there again.
